The new beginning for a WeHelpAnimals rescue starts with exceptional veterinary care provided by the Animal Health Center, Franklin, TN. Our standard of care includes a comprehensive veterinary evaluation, spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, bloodwork, heartworm testing, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, a dental cleaning when medically indicated, microchipping, and grooming. Complete veterinary records, treatment recommendations if any, and guidance are shared with adopters. We disclose all information we have about each rescue.

Our goal is to restore every rescue to the healthiest state possible, improve their quality of life, and prepare them for their new home through lots of love, patience, and understanding . We believe every dog deserves the opportunity to live a happy, fulfilling life, regardless of age or health challenges.

WeHelpAnimals.net was established in November 2012 with one simple mission—saving lives and giving second chances.

Every rescue that comes through our doors has a story. Some arrive as newborn puppies searching for their first loving home. Others are senior dogs, who simply deserve comfort, compassion, and love in their remaining years.

Many of our rescues have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, or the loss of the only family they have ever known. Some come to us with a detailed history, while others arrive with no information at all. Although they cannot tell us their stories, their eyes, their resilience, and capacity to love say everything.
